Navigating life from where you are

Benview Counselling

Are you not sure how to navigate life in this moment?

Have you felt overwhelmed due to lockdown?

Was there a loss that left you uncertain where to turn?

We all experience the unpredictability of life.

At Benview Counsellling I create a safe and confidential space for you to explore navigating life from where you are.

Hello! I’m Susan

Grief and loss are common to the human experience.

The loss of a loved one. Ill health. Divorce. Infertility. The COVID 19 pandemic.

This grief can manifest itself in many different ways, such as anxiety, depression, sleep problems, addictions and guilt.

Were you a healthcare professional or other key worker on the frontline and don’t know how to process this?

I have particular expertise in dealing with grief and loss. I would love to discuss my services and explore how I can help you navigate life from where you are. Please feel free to contact me.

Getting Started is Easy

Request an Appointment

Fill out the contact form – you can use this to ask questions about the counselling process or set up an appointment.

The assessment is your opportunity to share your story. We are physical, emotional and spiritual beings, so we’ll also talk about topics such as your sleep patterns and medication.

Know Your Worth

Equip yourself with tools to help navigate life’s ups and downs, so you can know your true worth and value.

My Approach

I offer short term and long term counselling, depending on your circumstances. You may feel that a set number of sessions will give you sufficient space to explore a particular issue that’s been on your mind, or perhaps you are interested in therapy for a more in-depth experience of self discovery.

I am an integrative therapist who offers person centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

I offer both online and face to face counselling. Sessions are initially offered weekly, but can also be fortnightly or monthly depending on your requirements.

Whether you have previously tried counselling or are considering it now for the first time, I look forward to hearing from you.

I have experience helping people deal with:
